Police offices for fingerprints and TIE collection

The office that issues your card depends on your province

Fingerprints and card collection happen at police immigration units or DNI and passport offices, depending on the province. Choose a city to see which office serves you, which option to pick when booking, such as fingerprints and card rather than a renewal filing, and which area it covers. Keep your receipt for the collection visit.

Brigada Provincial de Extranjería y Fronteras de Barcelona (Guipuzcoa)

    Rambla Guipúscoa 74, Barcelona

For non-EU residents of Barcelona province, including Badalona, who need their residence card issued.

Bring your original valid passport; a report that the passport was lost does not replace it for fingerprinting. Prepare EX-17 and proof of payment of modelo 790, código 012. Select the fee category matching your card rather than assuming one flat fee. Check the appointment checklist for identity, decision, photo and any supporting documents required for your case. You can pay at participating banks without having an account there. Keep your appointment and application receipts and follow the office’s collection instructions. For the photograph, the police specify a recent front-facing colour face image, 32 × 26 mm, on a plain white background. For card renewals after an address change, prepare an updated padrón document issued less than three months ago. A lost or stolen previous card must be reported even if it has expired. These are national checklist requirements; follow any additional instructions for your case.
