Places for fingerprints and residence card pick-up in the Netherlands

Match the place on your IND letter with the right city

Visits are by appointment only, and not every place offers every service. Some serve only people from a certain region, and an appointment booked before your letter arrives can be cancelled. Each place runs its appointments in its own way, so take your passport and your appointment code along.

  • 's-Hertogenbosch

    IND desk ’s-Hertogenbosch

    Leeghwaterlaan 14, 5223 BA 's-Hertogenbosch

Wait for the immigration service’s letter before you book, since an earlier appointment can be cancelled.

Bring a valid passport or travel document and your appointment code. Bring your previous residence document or W/W2 document if applicable, or the police loss/theft report. For a Netherlands-born child aged two or older, bring the parent’s valid passport or residence document and the child’s passport, birth certificate or municipal BRP (Dutch population register) registration; copies of the last two are accepted. For ordinary collection, attend personally; someone else cannot collect for you. A child under 18 must attend with a parent or legal representative. For a child born in the Netherlands, check the separate parent-and-child identification list. If application fees remain unpaid, pay the full outstanding amount at the desk: debit/contactless is preferred, cash is possible, and credit cards are not accepted. For the photo, avoid completely white or light-grey clothing because the background is light grey. A religious or philosophical head covering may remain on if the face is visible; the IND (Dutch immigration service) recommends plain material in a darker colour without reflective parts.

  • Amsterdam

    IN Amsterdam

Strawinskylaan 1767, World Trade Center — Tower Two, ground floor; entrance Zuidplein, 1077 XX Amsterdam

If you are an eligible international employee or family member, send the request form, then phone for a date.

Bring valid identity evidence and the IND (Dutch immigration service) receipt, biometric request or collection notice appropriate to the service. For a combined municipal-registration visit, check the separate signed address proof, original civil certificates and translation/legalisation requirements. Missing birth or marriage certificates may require a later appointment. Enter WTC Tower Two via Zuidplein at ground level; this is a different location from the IND desk at Pieter Calandlaan.

  • Amsterdam

    IND desk Amsterdam

Pieter Calandlaan 1, 1065 KH Amsterdam

Book after the immigration service’s letter arrives, and look for the desk opposite Lelylaan station.

Bring a valid passport or travel document and your appointment code. Bring your previous residence document or W/W2 document if applicable, or the police loss/theft report. For a Netherlands-born child aged two or older, bring the parent’s valid passport or residence document and the child’s valid passport, birth certificate or municipal BRP (Dutch population register) registration; copies of the last two are accepted. • Eindhoven

    Holland Expat Center South

Stadhuisplein 10, Third floor, 5611 EM Eindhoven

Email your details and the services you need, then wait for a secure form and the confirmed appointment.

Bring a valid passport; eligible EU citizens may use an identity card, but a driving licence is not accepted as identity. Check the case-specific IND (Dutch immigration service) and combined-registration checklist. Combined registration needs current address evidence and relevant civil documents; do not treat every registration document as a universal biometric-only requirement. Arrive 5–10 minutes early. For a biometric photograph, a headscarf must be plain and non-white.

  • Enschede

International Center East — Welcome Center Enschede

Hengelosestraat 51, Stadskantoor Enschede — confirm the appointment desk, 7514 AD Enschede

Pick Expatcenter Enschede in the immigration service’s planner, or ask the centre about group visits.

Bring valid identity evidence, the relevant IND (Dutch immigration service) receipt/request or collection notice, appointment confirmation and any previous residence document requested. Follow the case-specific checklist; do not assume a municipal-registration document list applies to biometrics alone. Immigration visits are at Stadskantoor, Hengelosestraat 51. M.H. Tromplaan 1 is the separate main office and is not the Welcome Center counter.

  • Goes

    IND Service Point Goes

M.A. de Ruijterlaan 2, Zeeland International Center, 4461 GE Goes

For a Netherlands-born child aged two or older, bring the parent’s valid passport or residence document and the child’s passport, birth certificate or municipal BRP (Dutch population register) registration; copies of the last two are accepted. • Groningen

International Welcome Center North — IWCN

Gedempte Zuiderdiep 98, 9711 HL Groningen

International employees and their families send a request form, and the welcome centre confirms the appointment by email.

Prepare passport details, V-number or IND (Dutch immigration service) case information, the application receipt or collection notice and the documents in the eventual confirmation. IWCN charges formalities fees for specified work-permit categories and their families, with exemptions for certain employers and permits. No VAT is added to the fees, invoices are payable at the appointment, and specified debit cards and credit cards are accepted. These are IWCN service-fee rules, not a statement about every IND application-fee payment.

  • Rotterdam

    Rotterdam International Center

Weena 725, Groot Handelsgebouw, 3013 AM Rotterdam

Highly skilled migrants, researchers and their families book online, and you do not need a Rotterdam address.

Bring a valid passport or travel document, appointment confirmation, and any current or expired Dutch residence document. Bring a police report if the document was lost or stolen. IND (Dutch immigration service) normally takes the photo itself. For children under two, IND uses a separate photo form instead of a biometrics appointment; follow the child-specific instructions.

  • The Hague

    IND desk The Hague

Rijnstraat 8, 2515 XP The Hague

Take your booked slot to the immigration desk, which has its own entrance to the right of the main door.

For a Netherlands-born child aged two or older, bring the parent’s valid passport or residence document and the child’s passport, birth certificate or municipal BRP (Dutch population register) registration; copies of the last two are accepted. • The Hague

    The Hague International Centre

Spui 70, City Hall (Atrium), 2511 BT The Hague

Open to eligible employees and families in the Hague region, if your application names the international centre.

Each person brings valid passport or travel document and any current or expired residence document. If the residence document was lost or stolen, bring the police report. Keep the relevant IND (Dutch immigration service) letter and booking confirmation available and select the correct appointment purpose.

  • Utrecht

IND Oekraïne locatie Utrecht — Atoomweg

    Atoomweg 100, 3542 AB Utrecht

Book the Ukraine-specific appointment once your letter arrives, and families of up to six can book together.

For card collection bring valid passport, identity card or Ukrainian embassy statement, old sticker/card if held, appointment code and IND (Dutch immigration service) collection letter containing your V-number. For a child without identity evidence, bring the birth certificate. Bring the police report if the previous proof was lost or stolen. Children under 18 attend with a parent or legal representative. Where a medical situation prevents attendance, consult the specific IND authorisation form and required supporting documents; ordinary proxy collection is not freely available.

  • Utrecht

Utrecht International Center — IND desk

Stadsplateau 1, Stadskantoor Utrecht — second floor; check in as instructed, 3521 AZ Utrecht

If you paid but received no confirmation, email [email protected] with the booking name and case number. For a refund, cancel at least five full working days before the appointment and submit the separate refund form; cancellation alone does not request the refund. Ask IND about changing collection location before the card is delivered to this centre.

  • Wageningen

Welcome Center Food Valley — IND desk

Bronland 10, Building Plus Ultra II, 6708 WH Wageningen

Your employer sends the formalities request, and the desk serves skilled migrants, researchers and their families.

Bring valid identity evidence, the applicable IND (Dutch immigration service) receipt, biometric request or collection invitation, and the documents in WCFV’s confirmation. Card collection must follow the IND location notice. Combined municipal registration requires a rental agreement in Wageningen, Veenendaal, Renkum, Barneveld, Nijkerk, Arnhem, Ede or Rhenen. WCFV says standalone municipal registration is not available through this service; use the municipality where you will live. The visit is at Plus Ultra II, Bronland 10, not the postal address.
