Offices for fingerprints and residence card pickup in Poland

Some branches serve only their own cases, so check before you travel

Residence cards come from the foreigners’ department of a regional government office, and some regions also run branches in other towns. Choose a city to see whether its office works with online booking, queue tickets or a date agreed by phone, and what to bring.

  • Białystok

Podlaski Urząd Wojewódzki — obsługa cudzoziemców i uzgodniona obsługa paszportowa

ul. Mickiewicza 3, Parter — sala cudzoziemców; uzgodniona obsługa paszportowa przy wejściu głównym, 15-213 Białystok

Collect a ready card at the foreigners hall without a ticket, and give fingerprints when your written summons arrives.

Bring your passport and relevant case or collection notice. For fingerprints bring the originals and additional documents requested. A replacement application has its own document and payment requirements; check these with the office before attending.

  • Bielsko-Biała

Śląski Urząd Wojewódzki — Oddział Wydziału Spraw Cudzoziemców w Bielsku-Białej

    ul. Piastowska 40, 43-300 Bielsko-Biała

Collect your card at the branch that issued your decision, because appointments at other branches do not work.

For biometrics bring the summons, original valid passport and the originals or missing evidence requested for your case. For collection bring a valid identity document and attend personally; a minor must attend with a legal guardian. Do not assume an authorised representative can collect an adult foreign national’s card. Check the specific instructions if age, health or another statutory exception affects attendance.

  • Bydgoszcz

Kujawsko-Pomorski Urząd Wojewódzki — Wydział Spraw Cudzoziemców

    ul. Konarskiego 1-3, 85-066 Bydgoszcz

Fingerprints and card pickup are separate appointments, so phone to confirm which one you need.

Prepare the appropriate card application, two recent 35 × 45 mm photographs, valid passport and copy, evidence of the replacement reason, applicable address evidence and payment proof. Confirm the current checklist and any fee reduction. Bring the originals requested in your summons. A pending replacement or a positive residence decision does not itself establish that a finished card can be collected. Report a lost or damaged card to the issuing authority within three days; the replacement application generally follows within 14 days of the replacement reason. These are separate steps.

  • Częstochowa

Śląski Urząd Wojewódzki — Oddział Wydziału Spraw Cudzoziemców w Częstochowie

ul. Jana III Sobieskiego 7, Częstochowa

Follow the date in your fingerprint summons, and book card collection only after confirming the card is ready.

  • Gdańsk

Pomorski Urząd Wojewódzki — Wydział Spraw Cudzoziemców w Gdańsku

ul. Chmielna 74/76, Obsługa klienta; korespondencja: ul. Okopowa 21/27, 80-810 Gdańsk, 80-748 Gdańsk

Book card collection online once your case status shows the card is ready, because it cannot be booked by phone or email.

Bring your valid travel document and previous card if issued for collection. Collection is normally personal; ask about the precise requirements for a child or an exceptional inability to attend. For replacement after changed details, loss or damage, the separate checklist calls for an application, two recent 35 × 45 mm photographs, passport copy with original available, reason-specific evidence and payment proof. The local procedure says to send that replacement application by post to Okopowa 21/27, 80-810 Gdańsk, then follow the fingerprints summons. Replacement deadlines differ: generally 14 days after the triggering change, or at least 30 days before expiry of a permanent/long-term-resident card. Confirm the correct fee and any reduction; replacing a card does not extend a temporary residence permit.

  • Gorzów Wielkopolski

Lubuski Urząd Wojewódzki w Gorzowie Wielkopolskim

ul. Jagiellończyka 8, 66-400 Gorzów Wielkopolski

Apply at the registry or by post when your card is lost, damaged or out of date, and the office sets your visit.

Prepare the completed replacement form, a copy of your valid travel document with the original for inspection, two signed passport-standard biometric photos no older than six months, original payment confirmation and evidence of the reason for replacement. For a minor, include the guardian’s passport copy and show the original. Changed names may require a current marriage record or USC (civil registry office) decision; for loss or theft, a police report is also needed. The 50% reductions require the relevant social-assistance evidence or proof that the child is under 16. Collect personally with a valid travel document and the previous card if issued. Tell the office if your address changes during the case and bring every document specified in the summons.

  • Katowice

Śląski Urząd Wojewódzki w Katowicach — Wydział Spraw Cudzoziemców

ul. Konstantego Damrota 16, 40-022 Katowice

Come for fingerprints when summoned, and book collection only after the office confirms your card is ready.

  • Kielce

Świętokrzyski Urząd Wojewódzki w Kielcach — Oddział ds. Cudzoziemców

al. IX Wieków Kielc 3, Budynek C, V piętro; wejście od strony Silnicy, 25-516 Kielce

Call to arrange a day for your card application, or apply by post and still come in for the fingerprint check.

Prepare the Polish-language card form, two compliant 35 × 45 mm photographs taken within the last six months, a passport copy with the original for inspection, evidence supporting the change, and proof of payment of the applicable fee. Fingerprints are taken from age six. The fee is normally PLN 100, PLN 200 for a first loss or destruction that is your fault, and PLN 300 for any further one; ask whether you qualify for a 50% reduction and what proof you need. Report loss or damage to the issuing authority within three days and apply for a replacement within 14 days of the relevant change or loss. Request your next permanent-residence or EU long-term resident card at least 30 days before the current one expires.

  • Koszalin

Zachodniopomorski Urząd Wojewódzki — Wydział Spraw Cudzoziemców, Delegatura w Koszalinie

ul. Władysława Andersa 34, stawiennictwa: pokój 129; obywatele UE: pokoje 126 i 128; informacja o odbiorze kart: pokój 128, 75-626 Koszalin

Come for fingerprints when summoned, and ask the collection desk whether your card is ready before you travel.

For the biometric visit bring the summons, valid original passport and any originals or additional evidence requested. For collection follow the readiness notice and ask which identity document, previous card and payment evidence apply to your case. Confirm attendance requirements for children or a person represented by a guardian. Do not assume online submission alone completes the personal checks or guarantees a card is ready.

  • Kraków

Małopolski Urząd Wojewódzki — Wydział Spraw Cudzoziemców

ul. Przy Rondzie 6, 31-547 Kraków

Book card collection once a text message says it is ready, and follow your summons for fingerprints.

Bring your appointment or summons and passport. For collection, bring payment confirmation if not previously supplied. For biometrics, bring the originals and any additional documents requested in your summons.

  • Łódź

Łódzki Urząd Wojewódzki — Oddziały Cudzoziemców do Spraw Legalizacji Pobytu

    ul. Piotrkowska 103, 90-425 Łódź

Follow your summons for fingerprints, and ask whether a replacement card can be handled in one visit.

Use the checklist for your actual application or replacement reason. Keep your valid passport, existing card if available, required photographs, payment evidence and documents proving the change or replacement ground ready. Bring the originals requested in your summons. Do not use a replacement-card visit to submit a standard new permit on paper, and do not assume that a decision means a card is ready for collection.

  • Lublin

Lubelski Urząd Wojewódzki — obsługa cudzoziemców, Czechowska

    ul. Czechowska 15, Lublin

Check that your card is ready, then book a collection time and come in person.

Retain the residence decision, payment evidence, valid passport and existing card if relevant. Follow your booking confirmation or summons for the exact documents to present. Payment proof can be delivered at the Czechowska 15 information point or posted to WSOiC, Spokojna 4, 20-914 Lublin. A positive decision alone does not mean the finished card is ready.

  • Olsztyn

Warmińsko-Mazurski Urząd Wojewódzki — Wydział Spraw Cudzoziemców

al. M.J. Piłsudskiego 7/9, Parter, pokoje 6–7; zgodnie z wezwaniem lub potwierdzeniem wizyty, 10-575 Olsztyn

Follow your summons for fingerprints, and check ticket availability before travelling to collect a ready card.

  • Opole

Opolski Urząd Wojewódzki — Centrum Obsługi Cudzoziemców

    ul. Piastowska 14, 45-081 Opole

Fingerprints and a signature follow your summons, while collection is a separate booked visit once your card is ready.

For biometrics, bring your original passport and the documents your summons asks for. For collection, bring a valid travel document and your previous residence card if issued. For a child under thirteen, the parent, legal representative or curator collects the card; bring the child if aged six or older, as required by the current Opole collection notice. Contact the office in advance if illness or disability prevents attendance.

  • Poznań

Wielkopolski Urząd Wojewódzki – Wydział Spraw Cudzoziemców, Poznań

    plac Wolności 17, 61-739 Poznań

Check whether your finished card is in Poznań or at a regional branch before you book collection.

Collect personally with a valid passport and previous card if issued. Children who were at least six when the relevant application was made must attend; ask about guardianship or medical exceptions. For a separate replacement prepare its form, two photos, passport copy/original, fee and reason evidence. Changes/loss/damage generally require application within 14 days; subsequent permanent/long-term cards should be requested at least 30 days before expiry. A normal card fee is PLN 100, with qualifying reductions or exemptions and higher fees for culpable loss/damage.

  • Rzeszów

Podkarpacki Urząd Wojewódzki — Oddział Obsługi Cudzoziemców

    ul. Grunwaldzka 15, 35-068 Rzeszów

Book your card appointment online, while fingerprints for a permit application come with a summons.

For a separate issue/replacement application, you need the current form, two 35×45 mm photographs taken within six months, passport copy with original for inspection, and evidence supporting the requested change. Fingerprints and personal attendance are generally required, subject to certain exceptions. Report loss or damage within three days; a replacement application is due within fourteen days of the reason for replacement. Check the correct first-card or subsequent-card checklist.

  • Szczecin

Zachodniopomorski Urząd Wojewódzki — Wydział Spraw Cudzoziemców

ul. Wały Chrobrego 4, 70-502 Szczecin

The office sets the date for your fingerprint visit, so there is nothing for you to book.

Bring your summons, original passport and every original or supporting document requested for the personal stage. A representative cannot provide fingerprints on your behalf. Confirm the exact documents if your case or identity details have changed, and keep your correspondence address current. Card collection and replacement may need other evidence and arrangements; ask for the appropriate procedure rather than assuming this attendance completes them.

  • Warsaw

Mazowiecki Urząd Wojewódzki — Wydział Spraw Cudzoziemców

    ul. Marszałkowska 3/5, 00-624 Warsaw

The office sends you the time and place for fingerprints and collection, and a replacement card has its own application.

Take your valid passport, summons and previous card, if issued, to collection; ordinary adult collection is personal, not by an employer or representative. Ask about the specific attendance rules for children or inability to attend. For a separate card application prepare its form, two photos, passport copy and original, applicable payment and documents supporting the reason. Replacement after relevant changes, loss or damage generally requires application within 14 days; a subsequent permanent/long-term card is requested at least 30 days before card expiry. For MOS (online residence application system) cases, send requested supplementary evidence electronically through e-Doręczenia (Poland’s electronic delivery system) with the case number and name; the fingerprint counter does not accept paper supplements for those cases.

  • Wrocław

Dolnośląski Urząd Wojewódzki — sprawy obywatelskie i cudzoziemcy

pl. Powstańców Warszawy 1, Rejestracja UE: Sala Obsługi Klienta A, 50-153 Wrocław

Fingerprints follow your summons, and for any card matter you book a visit online and pick the right purpose.

Bring the summons or appointment confirmation, original passport and the evidence requested for your card stage. You need payment evidence and an address-registration confirmation or a written request for a card without the address. A separate replacement or next-card application needs its form and two colour photographs, 35 × 45 mm, taken within six months. Report loss or damage to the issuing authority within three days; apply for replacement within 14 days of the replacement reason. For an expiring permanent-residence or EU long-term-resident card, apply for the next card at least 30 days before expiry. These card steps do not renew a temporary-residence permit. An ordinary collection booking is not a loss notification.
