Offices for cancelling your address registration in Spain

Name the city you live in now and see how its office works

Town halls handle this their own way: signing a short declaration at the counter, reserving a time online, or sending a signed request. Bring your ID and a dated declaration that you are leaving, though what a particular office asks for beyond that can vary.

Ayuntamiento de Murcia — Servicio de Estadística, registro padronal de Puerta Nueva

Calle Puerta Nueva 10B, 30001 Murcia

Book the appointment for registrations, removals and changes, not the certificate one, and say you are moving abroad.

Use Solicitud de baja por marchar al extranjero or a signed written request stating that you are transferring residence to another country. Attach a copy of your current identity document; the linked model names NIE (foreigner identification number) or passport. Include the registered Murcia address, destination and requested identifying/contact details. Keep proof of filing and ask how to obtain confirmation. Do not use the separate baja de domicilio form intended for improper registrations. Ask the office which submission methods are available for a move abroad and when you can expect confirmation.
