    Bring your identity card or passport. A representative needs authorisation and their own identity document. The free electronic route requires the activated eID function of the identity card and AusweisApp, with the service account used for delivery. Do not order a separate extended certificate for a Stuttgart marriage registration when the Standesamt supplies it.
