Immigration offices for residence card fingerprints and collection

How your city’s office invites you and hands over the card

Not every Ausländerbehörde works the same way. Some invite you for fingerprints and a photo and send a second invitation when the card is ready, while others post the card or let you collect it at a counter. The details for your city show what its office does, how to arrange the visit and what to bring, such as your passport and any letter you received.

    Am Propsthof 10, 53121 Bonn

After your application is checked you are invited twice, first for fingerprints and a photo, then to collect the card.

Check your invitation for identification, photograph requirements, old-document return and any other documents before attending. The city requires personal attendance for the two stages; do not assume proxy collection is available. Its eAT procedure estimate of six to eight weeks is not a guaranteed collection date or total application deadline. Confirm the fee and payment instructions for your permit; EC payment is available.
