Passport offices across Poland

Each passport office has its own routine for applicants

Passport offices are part of the regional government offices, and each one has its own routine. Some work with online reservations, others also give out queue tickets that can run out late in the day, and some offer special arrangements for people with limited mobility. Where the finished passport is handed over also depends on the office.

Book online or take a queue ticket, and bring your current passport when you collect the new one.

Bring your valid passport or identity card if issued, a passport photo taken within six months, payment confirmation and any discount evidence. Staff prepare the application. Check child attendance and parental-consent rules before visiting. The standard fee is PLN 140, with reductions and exemptions. Pay by card at the counter or transfer beforehand; no counter cash payments. For a counter application, a child aged five or over must attend; fingerprints are normally taken from age twelve. The regional office recommends sending electronic parental consent at least two days before the appointment. An eligible application for a child under twelve can instead start through the national online service.
