Help points for DigiD and online government in the Netherlands

Library help points and municipal desks, city by city

Many libraries run an Informatiepunt Digitale Overheid, a help point where staff or volunteers explain DigiD, government messages and online forms, usually without asking you to be a member. Some city halls offer the same on request. Opening days are often limited, so open a place to see when it is staffed and whether to book.

Vosselmanstraat 299, CODA — eerste verdieping, 7311 CL Apeldoorn

Free help with DigiD and online government questions on Tuesday afternoons and Thursday mornings, no appointment needed.

Bring the relevant letter or explain which service you are trying to use. If the task involves your own device or account, ask in advance what to bring and keep control of your login and authentication. Do not send passwords or authentication codes in an enquiry. Some problems require referral to DigiD (the Dutch digital ID for government websites) or the responsible agency. Confirm the session is running, particularly around holidays; a language-learning session or general social-support walk-in is not automatically the digital-government session.
