Pick the city where the event was registered
A certificate can only be issued by the municipality that registered the birth, marriage, partnership or death, and moving to another city later does not change that. Requests may go in online with DigiD, by post or at the counter, depending on the office, and the document reaches you in different ways. A valid ID is required.

Bring valid ID and payment means; written applications need an ID copy. Representation requires signed authority explaining the reason and both identities. Confirm that the required international format is available for your particular act and accepted by the recipient.
