Offices for Dutch birth, marriage and death certificates

Pick the city where the event was registered

A certificate can only be issued by the municipality that registered the birth, marriage, partnership or death, and moving to another city later does not change that. Requests may go in online with DigiD, by post or at the counter, depending on the office, and the document reaches you in different ways. A valid ID is required.

    Stadhuis Almere — Burgerzaken

    Stadhuisplein 1, 1315 HR Almere

Apply with DigiD for the birth record of someone born in Almere, or phone for a counter appointment if you are in a hurry.

Specify the certificate, number of copies, full name and date of birth, full copy versus international extract and delivery address. A written overseas request must be dated and signed, with a safe copy of valid ID; payment instructions follow and the document is sent after payment. An authorised representative brings the completed municipal authorisation form, your ID copy and their own ID. The fee is €17.80. Postal delivery time is not guaranteed; allow time for both payment and post. At the counter, payment is by debit card.
