Offices for fingerprints and residence card pickup in Poland

Some branches serve only their own cases, so check before you travel

Residence cards come from the foreigners’ department of a regional government office, and some regions also run branches in other towns. Choose a city to see whether its office works with online booking, queue tickets or a date agreed by phone, and what to bring.

    ul. Marszałkowska 3/5, 00-624 Warsaw

The office sends you the time and place for fingerprints and collection, and a replacement card has its own application.

Take your valid passport, summons and previous card, if issued, to collection; ordinary adult collection is personal, not by an employer or representative. Ask about the specific attendance rules for children or inability to attend. For a separate card application prepare its form, two photos, passport copy and original, applicable payment and documents supporting the reason. Replacement after relevant changes, loss or damage generally requires application within 14 days; a subsequent permanent/long-term card is requested at least 30 days before card expiry. For MOS (online residence application system) cases, send requested supplementary evidence electronically through e-Doręczenia (Poland’s electronic delivery system) with the case number and name; the fingerprint counter does not accept paper supplements for those cases.
