Offices for fingerprints and residence card pickup in Poland

Some branches serve only their own cases, so check before you travel

Residence cards come from the foreigners’ department of a regional government office, and some regions also run branches in other towns. Choose a city to see whether its office works with online booking, queue tickets or a date agreed by phone, and what to bring.

Check whether your finished card is in Poznań or at a regional branch before you book collection.

Collect personally with a valid passport and previous card if issued. Children who were at least six when the relevant application was made must attend; ask about guardianship or medical exceptions. For a separate replacement prepare its form, two photos, passport copy/original, fee and reason evidence. Changes/loss/damage generally require application within 14 days; subsequent permanent/long-term cards should be requested at least 30 days before expiry. A normal card fee is PLN 100, with qualifying reductions or exemptions and higher fees for culpable loss/damage.
