Offices for fingerprints and residence card pickup in Poland

Some branches serve only their own cases, so check before you travel

Residence cards come from the foreigners’ department of a regional government office, and some regions also run branches in other towns. Choose a city to see whether its office works with online booking, queue tickets or a date agreed by phone, and what to bring.

Come for fingerprints when summoned, and ask the collection desk whether your card is ready before you travel.

For the biometric visit bring the summons, valid original passport and any originals or additional evidence requested. For collection follow the readiness notice and ask which identity document, previous card and payment evidence apply to your case. Confirm attendance requirements for children or a person represented by a guardian. Do not assume online submission alone completes the personal checks or guarantees a card is ready.
