Apply where you live and collect the card in the same place
Applications go to the municipality where you are registered, so the office depends on your address. Towns take bookings online, by phone or at the counter, and some give each family member a separate slot. When the card is ready you collect it in person, and the PIN letter arrives by post.

Bring a biometric photo taken within six months. At collection, bring the old identity card and the code letter received from the Interior Ministry. For theft, report to police; for loss, contact the population service promptly.
