Centres that issue Icelandic course certificates

Contact the centre where you studied

Course certificates come from the adult education centres and language schools where you studied. Centres differ on whether they want a call or an email first and on what they need from you, such as your course dates. Check that the Directorate of Immigration accepts the document before you rely on it.

Phone or email the learning centre to ask for your attendance, grades and end-of-study report.

Prepare the name and dates of your course and any earlier certificate so staff can identify the relevant study record. Explain who needs the evidence and ask whether the document can show the completed teaching hours, attendance and assessment results required for your case. Confirm any required signature, original or language with the receiving organisation. Ask VISKA about document charges, processing time and delivery before relying on a deadline.
