Centres that issue Icelandic course certificates

Contact the centre where you studied

Course certificates come from the adult education centres and language schools where you studied. Centres differ on whether they want a call or an email first and on what they need from you, such as your course dates. Check that the Directorate of Immigration accepts the document before you rely on it.

    Þórsstíg 4, 600 Akureyri

Call or email the adult education centre to ask for your completed hours and actual attendance.

Free course-selection advice does not mean tuition or certificate copies are free.

Email the learning centre and say whether you need attendance, results or confirmation that you finished.

Explain who needs the evidence and ask whether the available document can show completed teaching hours, attendance or results. Confirm required language, signature and original-copy arrangements with the receiving organisation. For a residence application, ask that authority which course evidence it accepts. Check document charges and delivery time with the centre before relying on a deadline.
