Passport offices in Belgium, city by city

Your own municipality takes the application

Passport applications are taken at the counter of your own municipality. Each office sets its own booking routine, serves visitors in its own languages, and has rules for children and for collecting the finished passport, with or without a new appointment.

    Gemeente Kontich — Burgerzaken

    Gemeenteplein 1, 2550 Kontich

Book an appointment and apply in person, remembering that each child needs a passport of their own.

Bring your identity card and previous passport. A minor must attend with a parent. Counter photos are free; under-sixes need a photographer’s photo. A supplied photo must be recent and compliant. Report theft to the police and bring the certificate; report loss promptly to the municipality or DOCSTOP. Never reuse a passport reported lost, even if found. Ask Burgerzaken about urgent processing or disputed parental consent before your appointment.
