Your own municipality takes the application
Passport applications are taken at the counter of your own municipality. Each office sets its own booking routine, serves visitors in its own languages, and has rules for children and for collecting the finished passport, with or without a new appointment.

Book by phone or online, and if the parents live apart, a child comes with the parent they are registered with.
Bring your identity card, old passport and a biometric colour photo no older than six months. Surrender the old passport when collecting the new one. Theft requires a police certificate; for loss, contact the population team.
