Passport offices in Belgium, city by city

Your own municipality takes the application

Passport applications are taken at the counter of your own municipality. Each office sets its own booking routine, serves visitors in its own languages, and has rules for children and for collecting the finished passport, with or without a new appointment.

Rue des Halles 4, 1000 Brussels

Bring your identity card and previous Belgian passport if any. Theft requires a police certificate; loss is declared at the counter. Photos are taken there from age four; bring a photo for a child under four. The child must attend the application with the appropriate parent or guardian; check parental consent and guardianship evidence where needed. Collect within 90 days of application: uncollected passports are destroyed and a fresh paid application is then necessary. Check the current fee and processing time before choosing urgency.
