Where to ask for your integration certificate in Belgium

Most agencies want a call or an email before you visit

Each regional agency handles certificates in its own way, and walk-in mornings are sometimes meant only for enrolling in courses. Under each office you will find who deals with certificates there, how to get in touch and what to have ready.

Amal — Agentschap Integratie en Inburgering Gent

    Blekerijstraat 55, 9000 Ghent

Contact Amal by phone, email or at reception, as online booking is only for Dutch lessons and the full programme.

Have valid identification or residence documents and existing programme records ready. Amal’s initial-visit checklist also mentions employment or study evidence where applicable; existing OCMW (public social welfare centre), VDAB (Flemish employment service), integration and Dutch certificates are optional. Explain the proof requested by the authority. Discuss any course or test costs and exemptions; do not assume an immediately available or free replacement certificate.
