Offices that help with eID codes and digital keys in Belgium

Check whether your town needs an appointment first

In some towns you can walk in and change a forgotten PIN on the spot, in others you book a counter slot, send a form to the population service or order new codes from the federal service first. Check your city to see which applies and what ID to bring.

    Commune d’Uccle — Service Etrangers

Rue de Stalle 77, 1180 Uccle

Request the codes at the foreigners counter, then return to activate them on your card once they have arrived.

Ask what identity evidence to bring and take your residence card for activation as instructed. If the card itself is lost or stolen, the municipality requires a police declaration and a separate replacement order with identity evidence, photo and card charge; requesting codes alone is insufficient.

    Commune d’Uccle — Service Population

Rue de Stalle 77, 1180 Uccle

Walk in on weekdays and reset your PIN with your unlock code, with later opening on Thursday evenings.

Bring the card and available PUK (PIN unlock code) or replacement-code letter as instructed. The federal replacement request needs the national-register number and a valid email address. Card loss/theft is a separate reporting and replacement procedure; code renewal alone does not replace a missing card. No code-delivery deadline or fee is inferred.
