Where to report a change of address in Belgium

Choose the city you moved to, not the one you left

A move is reported to the municipality you are moving to, and each one has its own routine: some take the report online or at a kiosk, others through a district office or by appointment. Afterwards you are asked to come in so your ID or residence card can be updated.

    Stadhuis Sint-Niklaas – Burgerzaken

    Grote Markt 1, 9100 Sint-Niklaas

Report your move online or book a visit to the town hall, also if you are not Belgian and hold a residence card.

For the card update, bring your identity or residence card and PIN. Bring any child’s Kids-ID and its PIN or PUK (PIN unlock code) if it also needs updating. If you have lost the codes, use the city’s linked code-request procedure before the appointment.
