Tax offices that issue certificates in Poland

Check that your street belongs to the office before you call

A tax certificate comes from the office responsible for your address, and bigger cities have several. Choose a city to see which offices handle requests, whether to apply online or book a visit, and what to state in your request.

Ask the recipient what the certificate must show, then apply with a signed paper request or electronically.

Choose the certificate type and relevant year or period; prepare any representation authority. Use the dedicated e-US/eUS form when available, with general correspondence as the fallback when no form exists. WN-CFR online requires prior e-Korespondencja consent. Certificate requests through e-US/eUS are free of stamp duty; standard paper or e-Doręczenia (Poland’s electronic delivery system) duty for income and tax-residence certificates is PLN 17, subject to exemptions. Attach payment evidence when required. Keep a digitally signed certificate as the original file. Delivery may be electronic, postal or by agreed collection. The seven-day procedure can result in a certificate or a decision, including refusal; a visit does not guarantee immediate issue.
