Pick the office that covers the place where you live
Residence matters are handled by the foreigners’ department of the voivodeship office, and which one you apply to depends on where you live. Some offices have branches that serve nearby towns. How applications are taken, and when applicants are called in, varies from office to office; expect to show documents such as your original passport.

Apply online if you live in the Małopolska region, then come in for fingerprints when summoned.
Prepare a digital photo, scans of all passport pages, applicable payment evidence and documents for your residence purpose. Arrange any employer or university electronic attachment early. Sign and submit the application, save the receipt, and keep originals for the summons.
