Municipal desks for non-resident registration in the Netherlands

The desk you can use may depend on your nationality

Only some municipalities run a desk that issues the citizen service number (BSN) to non-residents, and several ask you to fill in an online form first and bring its QR code to your appointment. Who a desk serves, how you book and which identity document it accepts all vary. Partners and children you register usually have to come in person too.
