Offices that help you find work in the Netherlands

Compare UWV and municipal job centres in your city

Some cities have a UWV Werkplein where you can walk in on weekdays, while others see people only by appointment or point you to a municipal job centre. Whether you should call or book first, and what to bring, depends on the office.

Your own DigiD (the Dutch digital ID for government websites) is used for Werkmap; keep passwords and verification codes private. A person accompanying you also needs valid identification. Confirm any extra application documents and digital-help availability with the office.
