Social welfare centres in Belgium, by city

Ask at the centre of the municipality where you live

Larger cities have several service points, spread over different neighbourhoods. Some want an online request first, others hold drop-in sessions on set days, and a few hand out numbered tickets that can run out early. Find your city to see how its centre works before you head there.

    Budastraat 35, 8500 Kortrijk

Get advice on money, benefits, housing and care, or use a neighbourhood team closer to home.

Bring your identity document and papers related to your question, as the city instructs. Explain whether you need help with income, bills, housing or care so the team can identify any further evidence. Staff can visit at home if travelling is difficult; ask when making contact. The online form accepts a question for yourself or another person; it asks whether that person consents to being contacted. Do not treat sending a question as confirmation of an award or payment date.
