Residence card offices in Belgium, town by town

Pick your town to see how its foreigners’ desk handles cards

Some towns ask you to book online, others want a phone call first, and a few receive visitors only on certain afternoons. Open your city to find out whether its office orders cards, hands them over or both, and what to bring along.

Phone or email to arrange your visit, as the foreigners service only receives people by appointment.

For renewal the city asks for a compliant photo. For collection bring the old residence document or provisional document and PIN/PUK codes. Renewal fees: A/B/H/I/J/K/L €35.70, children €16.30; EU/EU+/F/F+/M/N €35.10, children €13.10. Urgent issue is €147.60 for adults or €115.60 for children in both groups. If your document is expired or about to expire, contact the service about the additional photo and €5 formality it lists; this is not a guarantee that residence permission is extended.
