Residence card offices in Belgium, town by town

Pick your town to see how its foreigners’ desk handles cards

Some towns ask you to book online, others want a phone call first, and a few receive visitors only on certain afternoons. Open your city to find out whether its office orders cards, hands them over or both, and what to bring along.

Administration communale de Mons – Population, État civil et Étrangers

    Rue Buisseret 2, 7000 Mons

Apply by appointment or on a Monday or Thursday morning without one, then return in person to collect the card.

For the card application prepare the existing residence card or valid police loss/theft certificate and a compliant photo taken within six months. For collection bring the old card or relevant certificate and the new PIN letter. Confirm any permission needed before ordering the card. Ask separately about children: the city’s renewal and collection pages give different under-12 attendance instructions.
