Residence card offices in Belgium, town by town

Pick your town to see how its foreigners’ desk handles cards

Some towns ask you to book online, others want a phone call first, and a few receive visitors only on certain afternoons. Open your city to find out whether its office orders cards, hands them over or both, and what to bring along.

Book your card appointment, and your collection date is set during that visit, so you need no second booking.

Bring your current residence card or child’s document, or the loss/theft attestation, plus a compliant photo no older than six months. For collection, bring the old card or annex and the PIN/PUK codes. Someone else can collect the card for you with an authorisation, their own ID and a copy of your ID; check that this is possible in your case. Standard fees: €28.50 for A/B/K/L/H/I/J or €27.90 for EU/EU+/F/F+/N/M; for children under twelve, €13.08 or €9.88 respectively.
