Residence card offices in Belgium, town by town

Pick your town to see how its foreigners’ desk handles cards

Some towns ask you to book online, others want a phone call first, and a few receive visitors only on certain afternoons. Open your city to find out whether its office orders cards, hands them over or both, and what to bring along.

Book online if you already hold a residence permit, or phone the city first if you are coming to Belgium for the first time.

For application, bring national identification, your previous residence card if held, and a recent compliant photograph. For collection, bring the PIN/PUK letter and temporary document issued at application or after reporting loss/theft. Report a lost or stolen residence card to the police.
