Offices that issue PESEL numbers to non-residents in Poland

Some take bookings, some use queue tickets, many ask you to phone first

The request goes to the residents’ register desk of a commune or city office. At the desk you may have to quote the law that requires a PESEL, and whether a representative can go in your place depends on the office.

ul. Karola Libelta 16/20, Sala obsługi, parter, 61-706 Poznań

Only booked visitors are admitted, so reserve in the city calendar or by phone before you go.

Bring the personally signed application printed double-sided and identity/supporting documents. Postal or representative submission is conditional: applicants outside the EU/EEA/Swiss/protected UK categories generally must attend personally, with an exception for Poland-born children. Ask about certified copies and any representative-authorisation fee.
