Where to join a health insurance fund in Belgium

Branches by city, with the days they receive new members

Many branches hold a counter only on certain weekdays, and a few take a summer break or work by appointment. Each branch shows which fund it belongs to, when it receives members and what to ask about the start of your cover.

    CAAMI Courtrai

    Nieuwstraat 25, 8500 Kortrijk

Visit on Tuesday or Thursday, or by appointment on Friday, and ask about remote help if you need wheelchair access.

Complete and sign the enrolment form, plus a transfer form if you are already a principal member of another Belgian mutuality. Mail documents to CAAMI (public health insurance fund) Bruges, Torhoutsesteenweg 126, bus 00/01, 8200 Brugge, rather than this branch. Confirm the receiving office for email submissions and ask what supporting evidence your insurance situation requires. Ordering blank forms is not enrolment. A transfer generally requires at least one year of membership in your current mutuality; ask CAAMI to check the conditions before choosing a quarter-start date.
