Where to join a health insurance fund in Belgium

Branches by city, with the days they receive new members

Many branches hold a counter only on certain weekdays, and a few take a summer break or work by appointment. Each branch shows which fund it belongs to, when it receives members and what to ask about the start of your cover.

    CAAMI Bruxelles

Rue du Trône 30B, 1000 Brussels

Visit any weekday, with the longest hours on Monday and Thursday, also if you live in Schaerbeek.

Complete and sign the enrolment form, plus the transfer form if applicable. Send a signed PDF by email to your chosen CAAMI (public health insurance fund) office, or ask the office how to submit paper documents. Ask which identity and insurance-status evidence your situation requires. Ordering blank paper forms alone does not enrol you. A transfer generally requires at least one year of membership in your current mutuality; ask CAAMI to check whether the transfer conditions apply to you.
